My new foster rabbit is coming to stay on Saturday and I AM SO EXCITED!! I have been waiting 18 months for the SPCA to need a fosterer
She/he is going to live in the garage because the rain is too heavy for her to be outside, and I have an open garden and concerned about stray dogs.
I wondered firstly if you guys have ideas for toys and things she might like to play with whilst I'm at work? She's going to be coming on her own so I dont want her to bored and lonely. From when I had my own bunnies I remember stuffing toilet roll tubes with hay but I can't think of anything else.
And also, the SPCA are just giving me a hutch, so I wanted to build some kind of pen round it so she wont be trapped in it all the time. Is there a simple construction anyone could recommend please? We don't have those cube things here, and metal pens are expensive, so I was thinking of chicken wire held up with wooden poles, but it might be flimsy?
Any ideas gratefully received.
