insulated bed ideas... ( stray cats and rabbits ..)

As metioned before we feed several stray cats coming through our garden and we leave our (stone built) storage shed open for them all year round. I did built a box for them in there using really thick styrofoam used for insulating houses (3 inch thick boards glued together) and it has worked great and doesn't absorb moisture etc.

I want to build another one to be left outdoors for the more shy cat though and came across this online.
Thought I'd share, as some of these would make great rabbit beds as well (please note: our rabbits have a 7'x10' shed + run and this would go inside the shed to keep them warm in winter, it's not for "housing" the rabbits, just as a bed)

this particular one is my favourite (but i have yet to find a big enough cooler box..) :thumb::thumb::thumb:

easy to clean, insulated, spacious and hygenic ;) yeah

we currently use the following litter box to feed the strays ( with a fleece blanky) and we use the same boxes as a beds inside the rabit shed:

It can also be put into the run and is absolutely water tight (entrance keeps wind out also)
