Citronella candles??

Does anyone use these near outdoor bunnies or know if it's safe to do so? Just got some as whenever it's sunny :roll: I get little flies hanging around my French doors so got some of those bamboo torches but they came with candles in little terracotta pots and as I plan to make a ledge for a few plants on top of rabbit run I thought a few on there (safely obv) might be good to help keep flies away from rabbits??

I don't use citronella candles near the bunnies, but I do use citronella essential oil to help keep the flies away. I make little pouches and stuff them with wadding (or cotton wool) with a few drops of the citronella oil.

I sometimes burn them in my room with the bunnies but I open all the windows

So they'll def be ok outside then :thumb: Will look at the pouches too thanks I have lovebirds and there is so much I can't do now like use sprays and candles near them, even Teflon pans!! It's made me just a bit paranoid

The smoke from the candles will irritate a rabbit's nose and could cause snuffles.
