Wildlife/Nature pictures *warning mating toads/ducks and pic heavy*

I just got some cool pics of the fish in my pond and I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what the big fish are? I thought maybe American Shad? I'm not entirely sure though. The lake doctors said a long time ago that they were going to put some grass carp in but they don't look like grass carp do they? They school and there's definitely at least 3 but possibly more.
















Bluegill Sunfish. They love scrambled egg!









I finally downloaded my camera card (haven't needed to for months since it's a big card) and saw some neat pics from a few weeks or so back, some more recent.

Some pics of our turtles:





Florida Softshell Turtle. It's really tame, will even eat from your hand. Which is unusual for softshells, they're supposed to be really shy. It's really big, must have a shell length of 2+ feet.

3 pairs of toads mating and 1 toad waiting for a mate to come:



Tadpoles. There was thousands, going all around the pond.









Tadpoles eating scrambled egg. If you look closely in some of the close up pics you can see the egg (poop?) curled up in a spiral inside of the tadpole's bodies!

Not wildlife, but my feral cat:



And my cat Phantom (Black & white one) and my neighbors cats (that they barely ever even feed,so they kinda adopted us). They hung out on our porch together during the whole tropical storm Beryl (sp?), it was so adorable.

Oh yes, I love muscovies It's great to hear there's another muscovy owner on here.

















A couple of weeks ago, before the pond filled up - it's now past that concrete box. Just about 3 more feet and it'll be full.



From last year

How anybody could ever think they are ugly is beyond me.

Yours are very beautiful - they must really enjoy all that water. My lot have got four padding pools and a raised pond which I empty and refill every second day. I hope to dig a pond for them someday.

The ducklings are just adorable.
