Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Weeping willow safe for buns?

I'm trying to increase the activities for my recently bereaved doe.
She enjoys gnawing bark off branches which clearly is good for her.
She had previously enjoyed laural but having recently found out it's poisonous to buns (although it doesn't seem to have done her any harm over a 2 year period!!!!!!!) I wanted to be sure other trees etc are safe.
I have a hawthorn over hanging my garden which I know is safe although but I am SLIGHTLY worried as I've read that can decrease the appetite. I know willow is good for buns but I wanted be sure weeping willow is 100% safe!!!!
Thanks in advance xxxxxxx

I have just read your other post about Petie, so sorry

You can buy willow twigs from Larton's if you go there for the megazorb. Apple branches are definitely OK for them to nibble on.
