Gertie
Mama Doe
We once did this:
For Robert and Gertie to play on when under supervision. We already had built the decking, but we added the little fence for security and to keep them off the garden where they could come into contact with shrubs, etc. not suitable for bunnies.
Well, as many of you will know and can see from that pic, Bobert was very ill for a long time and whatever our vet tried, sadly, we lost Bobert cry and Gertie is now an only girl. However, the little minx decided that the area was not good enough for her alone. Oh no. She started to jump the fence, after she lost the weight we needed to shift from her! So, we have now made the entire garden bunny proof (the decking area now is no go for bunnies) - finished the fence a couple of weeks ago and either removed entirely or fenced off the shrubs from her. All plants left on her area are now herbs ok for her.
Here she is, minus the fat she had in her last photos and enjoying her free range time.
