Aviary roof...

In the future I will be getting a shed and aviary, I have to save up first :lol:!
I want the roof to be waterproof so instead of having roof panels what can I put on top instead?
 
I use roof panels but with clear corrugated PVC sheets fixed to the roof panels. Slightly higher at one end so that the rain drains off.
