Hi All,
Just wondering if you can help me - any advice would be hugely appreciated!
A few weeks ago Hector developed an almost bald patch on his shoulder. I took him to the vets thinking it might be mites. She had a look, and said that as the skin wasn't all flakey she thought it might just be Lluna overgrooming him, or a wierd moult, but gave me Xeno 450 to treat him with just incase.
The bald patch is still there, with very short fur growing back. The skin there looks very healthy, but i noticed while checking him just now that on his back he has a patch where his skin is really very flakey/dandruffy, and the fur seems to be thinning.
So I am guessing this means he now definitely has mites :? ? If so, what is the best treatment? The Xeno 450 I used before seems to have been totally ineffective. Should I try it again? Or is there something better I can use?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!
