Oh that's good, I would shop around for his neuter, I wish I'd known about my new vet now he is much cheaper than the one I went to for my 3 neuters!

and i did see i got a difference of £30 and the cheaper vet is the vet who deals with rabbits and is very clued up the expensive vet only did occasional rabbit work and in fact didnt see why i woud want to neuter cooper since i didnt have a doe :? i would have also had to drop him at one branch so he could be transported to another then brought back after for me to pick him up and drive him home again (to much hassle and stress for a little bunny i think)

 what a strange thing for a vet to say! That does sound like way too much stress especially after an op xx

well he is mostly a large animal vet and was concerned about rabbits and anesthetics (plus i dont think he wanted to do it ) hes a good vet has worked on my horses for years ( i dont have any now) and believe me ive heard and seen worse from vets lol but its the same as anything some enjoy or specialise in an area and others dont ;)

Yeah, you're so right :) I suppose as well large animals is probably where the money is! I've heard terrible things too, the closest vets to me didnt even know you could neuter a rabbit

o my word thats scary biscuits i always wonder cuz i know a lot of people who dont even think to ask another vet they just agree as they rightly assume that their vet knows best :(
