The Newly Separated Hutch

:wave: Well here's the bunnies hutch after separation .......... They have a ramp in each side going down to the downstairs area, the downstairs doors are always open so they can have 24 hr access to the run.

Hubby is making them some 'proper' bedrooms today ..... last night they used the cardboard boxes and we covered the upstairs up with a shower curtain as a temp measure.

Also, at weekend we're going to extend the run to just past the green strip of turf so they can have some grass to play on (we've had to wait for it to root etc or it would die as soon as they started eating it) ....... so they'll have an extra few feet which will bring their accommodation and run space up to 36 sq ft each.

Can't wait until they've been neutered and re-bonded so they can have the full run of the hutch & run area again.

The hutch/run as a whole is 5ft wide, 2½ ft deep, 5½ft high and the run is currently about 8ft long but will be about 10-11ft long after weekend.

Aw, that's great - they are still really close to each other until they're done, and they'll have a fab space afterwards

Awww thanks, I felt really mean separating them .. but its for their own good/safety and they've been running up and down and binky-ing about so I think they're ok with the temp set up!
