Juicy Lucy in recovery

Minimallow

Wise Old Thumper
Poor Lucy had to get a bit of an emergency op recently due to weightloss. Turns out she had over 100g of food stuck in her stomach so wasnt getting all the nutrition she should have been. She has been recovering well and we are now concentrating on getting some more meat on her wee bones

ohhbpoor girl ...and she was such a podgey bun when she arrived ...

im so glad you picked up on the problem...Lucy wouldnt have had a chance otherwise .

I know! We thought she was just losing weight with all the running around etc, but when we started giving her extra feeds and it didnt work we knew something must have been up. Never thought it would be something like that but at the same time relieved it was nothing nasty like a tumour or anything :)

Shes still talking to me even after 3 doses of meds twice a day. As soon as she hears the noises of the food being made up she runs over  She's still a piggy

sending lots of noserubs and snuggles to lucy. shes looking well nicki considering what shes had to have done. well done and thanks for being such a lovely caring bunny mummy to her xx

Aww thanks

Her coat is starting to look a bit shinier again - went a big dull when it was all going on - not surprising really!

Awwww Lucy, Lucy!

She's so beautiful. x

Am soooo glad she's getting better - she's looking nice and lively having been through such a big operation, bless her xxx

Sending lots and lots of recovery and 'getting plumper' vibes and some hugs for you 'cos it must have been very scary for you when she had to have that emergency 'op etc. :) xx
