I thought I'd start a thread on fish as there doesn't seem to be a fish thread here yet.
I love my goldfish but boy are they messy:lol: I have three at the moment and although they are currently living in a tank I'm having a pond made next year that they'll go to live in instead.
This is Russ he was a tiny wee bub when I got him but he's grown into a very lovely guy at around 7" long.
Wee bubby Russ
Big Russ
About to give Slinky the weather loach a big smacker
Rosie I seen in a pet shop and thought she was the most beutiful fish I had seen. Here she is when I first got her, she would have been lucky to have been pushing 2" then.
Here she is now all grown up, she has a lovely long tail and is around 8" now too
This is wee Ruggles when he was a baby, aside from the goldies I bred myself he was possibly the smallest goldie I've had. He was just over an inch when I got him and had lovely colours.
Now he's lost most of his gold colour. He's a bit smaller than my other two at 5"
his unhappy face:lol:
I haven't many photos of him online but here's my weather loach Wiggles.
I got him when I was at nursery school 22 years ago. It's possible he is actually older than me.
So can we see other peoples lovely fishies, I have a few tropical fish just now in a wee tank but they're hard to photograph.
The three goldies together
