i took my adopted rabbit to the pdsa today as she has a hard lump under her nipple where he told me there was a smaller lump towards her bottom. He told me "its probably cancer or mammary tumors but theres nothing i can do you just have to wait until she goes off her food and water, thats when shell be soon to die" words cannot describe how i was feeling in this 3 minute meeting but what else could i do? i had read up on the internet about what it could be and had come to the same conclusion as the vet.I thought i was ready for him to tell me it was cancer, but with no bloods taken no further investigating i wasnt happy and sobbed all the way home. In my research id read how people with the same problems with their rabbit had undergone surgery to by spayed at the same time of removing the tumors. I feel like maybe i should just fork out for a proper vet in the hope they can actualy help and will give a toss. Or am i just in denial that theres nothing that can be done and have high hopes that there is someway i can help smudge??
