Are they necessary? One came with the rabbits I just adopted and I don't want it to go to waste if they can have it.

okay, thanks. I wonder if there's anything I can do with them? I don't suppose hamsters need them either? Or guinea pigs (I don't have pigs, but could save it for my future ones)

oh.... i bought a mineral lick yesterday from pets at home :s
im assuming they are the same as a salt lick and they do not need them?

Will used to love hers & always had a mineral or salt lick but B is on a low calcium diet so shes not allowed them.
