My african pygmy hedgehog is currently pregnant and expecting her second litter, i've just been looking at some pics of her last litter... still miss them :( and I thought i'd share a few!

i want one

when i was little i use to search the field at the back of my house and if i found one in the day i would put it in the empty rabbit hutches. i have always loved hodgehegs:love:
 
yes african pygmy hogs are kept as pets. They're quite easy to keep, mine live in 3 ft vivariums with large wheels and little fleecy houses. They eat dried cat food and drink water. You just have to be careful to keep them at a good temperature otherwise they can try and hibernate which can be dangerous as they don't have the food stores that wild hogs have. They're lovely pets
