Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. No bottom incisors :S

My vet mentioned to me the other day that my bun was missing both his bottom incisors, im sure they've mentioned this ages ago but it made me think because he does have dental problems but its his molars that get spurs he never has any problems with his remaining incisors :?

Surely if his bottom two are missing then his top two would be constantly overgrown?

Anyone know why they're not and also its a bit strange that they've just been missing since i got him a couple of years ago any ideas why this would be?

normally if inscisors are removed the top ones are too. its strange he only has one part f his set..could it be that he is gnawing on a lot of sticks /gnawing blocks etc ad is wearing it down natrually if the top ones arent overgrown then i wouldnt worry does he have his peg teeth still?(the little ones behind the incisors? because they could be whats stoppping the top ones getting too long.

I'm really not sure :? It just occurred to me the other day tbh that normally if the bottom or tops are missing/removed then the opposite teeth would get overgrown.

I'm not worried because i've had him for years and his incisors have never been a problem its just a little strange is all. I wonder how on earth he lost them in the first place and why they never grew back :?

I'm not sure about those other teeth that you have mentioned, what would i be looking for ?

Oooo almost forgot no he has never really chewed/gnawed on anything or eaten much hay/veggies etc, but since ive been putting shredded veggies in to tempt muffin hes been wolfing them down  So i'm guessing all this time hes just been unable to chew them in big chunks due to the missing teeth

That is bizarre! What does the vet say? My baby bunny has a problem with her jaw in that her top incisors grow behind her bottom. She did has one of her bottom teeth break off ! How strange for your bunny.
