i have one lonesome male because he didn't get along with his old partner..
im NOT looking into getting another one because if i did my mom would FREAK.

how many should be together?

Bunnies love company so if a friend is out of the question he needs lots of human interaction once he has learnt to trust you.

Single bunnies often end up as house bunnies.

Ideally you'd have 1 male bonded with 1 female. I think with larger groups there is a larger risk of sudden fighting, but I'm sure other people can advise.

Was his partner a male of a female? It's quite common for two males to fight
