Ear licking? With pictures.

I think Treacle is licking Dumplings ears and her fur is going manky.
Its getting discoloured and sticks up, any ideas of how to stop it?
Do you think it will affect Dumplings skin if she keeps over cleaning her?
She is doing it to both ears not just one.

Advise please.

Both Nigel and Gladys have those patches where they clean each other regularly. They dry out and fade when they groom themselves again, and so far I haven't seen any signs of soreness or fur loss on either of their ears. I think it only becomes a problem if they break the skin.
Just keep an eye on it I suppose. They luurrve each other! :lol:
