What age does your vet advise for neutering male buns? Mine said 6mths for my french lop which I was surprised about as I am sure before my buns have been younger than that.Pam
 
phoebe (hes a boy) was deplummed at about 7 month old.. but i got told aslong as there testicles have dropped and there the right weight theyll do it..and girlie rabbits have to be done 6 month and after
 
mine said 16 weeks. when Zola went to be neutered he was 7 months and only just fit into the chamber thingy they use to put them under.
 
OK thanks for all your replies. My last buns to be done were mini lops so perhaps thats why its 6 mths, cos he is a frenchie. He is only 4 1/2 mths at the moment so thats good have a bit longer before that rotten day when you take them in. LOL. Pam
