I've said multiple times that it's temporary but I can understand why they might not take my word for it. Just weird that one rescue was fine with it when they did their in-person home visit, and another isn't. Ironically Terry's pen is actually open (not just an open gate but the panel is wide open) to encourage him out whenever he wants, so it's not even an enclosed space! But I suppose from their POV anyone could say that and could be lying.
I think things have got stricter post-covid, my previous adoptions were all pre-covid and it was just a case of sending a pic of the setup and that was it. I imagine so many pets got dumped after covid that rescues can't be too careful. It's a shame we can't use forums as evidence that we're not terrible people who dump pets!
