Willow - All healed.

Well we are officially just over one month since Willow sadly lost her eye sight.

She has adapted SO very well and actually quite quickly. We still have the occasional bump in to furniture but that’s mostly when Ozzie is encouraging her to play and then chases her a bit..Not aggressively just as if to say, come on let’s go cause some havoc.

I am still feeing so very very sleep deprived from our stressful months, I’ve not really left the house since either (I feel awful leaving her alone)

BUT Willow has recovered. I thought I’d do a quick update as a few people stayed in touch and sent such lovely messages during my time in need.

Willows eyes have healed well, her furs all grown back and even her eye lashes are starting to come through again now (albeit they don’t really sit properly on her face lol)

She still loves a cuddle, has often come in to bed with me of a morning, groomed me, tooth purrs and then leaves again (Does need help on and off bed)

Oh and as you can see, I think we overdid it with the treats getting her back on her feet (OOPS) so currently on a treat free zone

What a lovely update, I have wondered how Willow (and you!) are doing. Isn't it amazing how well and how quickly they adapt?

Oh, that is the best news. Thank you for posting an update. I'm so glad for Willow It's wonderful that she's doing so well when she was so poorly with her eyes not that long ago. She's such a cutie, and she has her own built-in cushion to rest her head on, that's so nice, haha.That photo of Ozzie is adorable

I hope that now that Willow is doing so well and things have settled, you can get some real rest, after all the sleep you've missed and all the stress you've been through.

awww, a wonderful Willow update. She is beautiful....so pleased she has coped so well with her eye loss. Their relationship reminds me of my Eddy & his first wife Boo

Ozzie is doing so well with her (Better than I thought)

He guides her when it’s forage time, runs up and down the hallway if she doesn’t follow down at bed time, till she eventually gets the message he wants her as a hot water bottle under the bed

I think I’ve spiked my anxiety issues though with being in home so long, it’s now getting harder to agree to go out. Was suppose to go for a mooch about the shops last time my partner was off but I made excuses

She really has adapted and honesty thank you everyone who messaged/helped/words of encouragement. It’s always so hard when they’re unwell and especially how unwell she was.

Willow and Ozzie have thankfully bounced back just fine - it’s me that’s the issue now

Precious Willow . That first picture . I'm so glad Ozzie is such a good bunny partner, and that Willow's adapted so well.

Sending you vibes FireRose. It's hard to get out again after being inside for so long...especially when you had a roller coaster ride of anxiety and fear while Willow was sick. I think j&b's right, a nice walk might be the perfect place to start. I hope you're able to relax and rest fully soon.
