I'm sorry you are missing your rabbits and that you were forced to give them up.
Under the circumstances, it's unlikely that you will be able to trace them as rescues don't give out rehoming details, but you could think about doing something to remember the time you had with them, such as donating to the rescue in their names, writing a living memorial that you can look back on in future, planting a bush, etc. Maybe help out at a local animal rescue to help make things better for other pets that were given up? Find something that works for you, and try to understand what happened was done for the benefit of the rabbits - even if it really doesn't feel like it right now. They are still in your heart, and that is important.
