What's your rabbit's favorite treat?

I know every bun is different, but I could use some ideas! The girls are getting tired of their treats (apple, carrots, banana, and nibble rings) as well as their green mix. I'm thinking about getting raisins too.

What do your rabbits go crazy for?
 
Since i put them on a diet they are regarding any non hay food as a treat. I am loving their new enthusiasm. Basil has got to be top of the list for us, never had a bun not love it. Apple sticks and twigs ?
 
One prefers leafy twigs and bindweed.
The other two prefer softer leafy greens eg dandelions.
All like small windfall apples and fresh grass - any recently weeded handful stuffed through the bars of the runs soon disappears.

They really don't need sweet stuff like raisins.
 
Fresh grass, the boring little cheats. Or soft forage generally as the OH only gets them twiggy things. TBF it's got to be the 'right' kind of grass, the relatively soft, broad stuff, not just any old grass. Or kale sticks (we eat the leafy bits, they get the twiggy bits), as we hadn't had kale for about 4mths until the last week.
 
Casper's are plantain and apple leaves, both dried and fresh, carrot greens, and dried cucumber slices. Saar's I haven't figured out yet because she gets equally excited about everything 😆
 
Thanks everybun, I'm starting to get it now! Rabbits don't need so much sugar, do they? (and neither do I 🤣)

It's nice to know they don't need all the fancy stuff out on the market (mini fruit pies? really? even I knew that was a bad idea!). I guess I'll go back to the store and try to change up some of their greens more often. They get to run around the yard every morning and eat grass, dandelions, etc., so I suppose they're having a treat everyday?

reader, I wish my girls were like Saar! (although they also use their teeth to move stuff they think's in their way...just not my computer. It's mostly me, tbh 😂)
 
They don't need all the sugar according to us, but I'm sure they might think differently about it :ROFLMAO: But, yeah, they don't need any commercial treats, really, cute and colourful as they may look. Bunnies can't see directly in front of their faces anyway, so the cuteness of mini fruit pies would be completely wasted on them. Much better to get yourself a real fruit pie and be sure it's fully appreciated, if you ask me :ROFLMAO:

She is the least picky bunny I have ever met! (I can relate to the buns letting you know you're in the way :ROFLMAO:)
