What do you feed your bun everyday?

My lot have a spring green leaf per bun for breakfast, with hay
small handfull of redigrass per 2 buns, small handful of pellets per 2 buns and hay for tea and then hay for supper. Can you see a hay theme here :D

Mine have a small bowl of pellets between them for breakfast, and then a bowl of mixed veg at night, which can include celery, spring greens, radishes, peppers, fennel, herbs and various other bits, I try to vary it

They have their hay racks always full of a mix of hays all day too, and they munch on grass when free ranging.

mine have an eggcup full of pellets each for breakfast. They have unlimited hay which I top up throughout the day and then about a small handful each of grass, herbs or green leafy things at tea time. Occasionally they'll get a small piece of apple, pear or pineapple each before bed aswell

Breakfast treat hay e.g. orchard grass and veg three of herbs basil, parsley, dill, cauliflower leaf, cauliflower, brocolli, occassionally carrot, spring greens, pak choy whatever we get in.

Tea is small handful of bunny basics pellets, science selective or beaphar care plus.

They usually get grass, dandelion and or plantain fresh when I can get it. If not they have either dried dandelion or plantain.

Finally for supper they have a fenugreek crunchie or barley ring. I think that's it:lol:

Lops:

Two eggcups worth of pellets between them in the morning
Very large handful of hay
Big handful of greens each at dinner time (sometimes with a small handful of weeds after)
One eggcup more of pellets between them in the evening
More hay
One crunchie each

Lionheads

Exactly the same but with one eggcup of pellets between them in the morning.

pellets and hay in the morning - broccoli, carrot, sugarsnap peas, cabbage, cauliflower leaf - grass in the afternoon if they want to go out

Lots of fresh hay, Allen & Page pellets, plus a large handful each of a selection of three types of veggies and/or herbs.

Ours run free in the garden during the day so munch whatever they choose. Always have hay in the cage (fresh stuff added daily) and provide them with a small handful of Excel pellets each which are put in a bowl in the cage/run every night -this always entices them to bed where they can be safely locked away! Occasionally give them sprouts, broccoli, etc and sometimes choccy drops... and on Fridays as a special treat they get vegetarian deep crust pizza... well they can only dream :)

i really want to find some more natural things for them to have. they loved the apple sticks and leaves off here but they are gone for now. :(

they also used to have willow sticks and leaves from my mum and dads willow tree, but they had it cut down. :(

there are a few bushes round the garden wall that i need to find out about, see if they can have the leaves that fall on the grass.

grass (they eat it in thier run), hay, 2 table spoon of pellets, somem bunny treats such as fenugreek crunchies/ bitd of dried apple and parsnip.

I feel mean now!

Indy gets 15g of Excel Pellets in the morning at about 7 before i leave for work, with a wedge of hay. Then when i get back in the evening he gets the same again. He's not a big hay eater and would much rather stuff his face on pellets.

I bought some fenugreek crunchies yesterday and he didnt seem that fussed about them  He's only 12 weeks though and has only just figured out that his wood roll has food stuffed in it and its not just for rolling around the hutch

All day - hay, hay, hay! They have their hay racks, semi circle hanging baskets, topped up regularly through the day so they never run out.

Morning - small handful of pellets, hand full of readigrass or fresh grass from the lawn.

Evening - veggies, usually spring greens or carrot tops, kale, cabbage and very occasionally some fruit too.

excel pellets (about half an egg cup full) on a morning

Sometimes they get veggies or treats etc but not included in their routine :)

Prince and Mocha eats
Fresh grass, cabbage, carrots, unlimitted hay and rabbit food.. I give them controlled amounts of fresh greens coz they are nearly 1 month old.

I have a question, is it okay to give bunnies multivitamins intended for human babies? i was advised by a friend to do so cause she gives to her dogs.. and it also the advised of some of my friends who care for guinea pigs..:)

My 2 have hay at all times.
In the morning they usually have spring greens or cabbage - in the summer they have grass & dandelion leaves in the morning instead.
In the evening they have celery, fresh herbs, broccoli, cucumber.

I vary the herbs between basil, mint, coriander, flat leaf parsley, thyme & dill.

They love spinach & rocket too, but I don't give them spinach too often because of the high calcium content.

Pellets are more of a treat for them due to one of them being overweight - she would eat pellets and nothing else given the chance  They get an egg cup of pellets between them sprinkled on the hay.

Once a week they will get carrot or apple - again because of the weight issue I restrict high sugar foods.

My three get some fresh hay as soon as I wake up, about an hour later I give them their pellets, about 50 gram SS for all three and some fresh hay again.

In the afternoon they get a bowl of dried herbs and fresh hay. Around dinnertime, I give them some hay again and after diner I take Pip, who is still growing, out so she can eat SS again, as much as she wants to. (Usually somewhere between 20/30 gram.)

After that, they get their veggies, between 600 and 800 gram for all three, between 5 and 10 different kinds usually. And some fresh hay again..

Right before I go to bed, I give them some "special" hay such as timothy, readigrass, orchard or hay with herbs. And some fresh hay (normall) of course :p

Is the answer 'too much' suitable?

They get pellets @ 6:30am (about 3 egg cups between them both)

Veg about 7:30am (a leaf of spring green, 2x 1 inch pieces of carrot quartered, a floret of broccoli, a floret of cauliflower and occasionally some rocket or watercress).

Lots and lots of hay between then and 7pm, when they get herbs between them and a crunchy.

Then maybe a small amount of readigrass to tempt them back in after free-range time before bed :)
