What a desperate situation. From two to eighty in 18 months! I feel sorry for their owner too, especially as it seems he tried to get help without success. The bunnies, in the photos, look to be in good condition and without any evidence of fighting amongst them.

Donna had 32 of them, or it was 32 total rescues at her house. For those that don't know Donna is one of the founders of ARC.

Goes to show how quickly it can get out of hand if animals are not neutered. I expect it was too much for a man of 80.

Sadly its not uncommon. It can be very difficult to re-home rabbits.

I could take on one more rabbit although I will have to be very specific and I'd have to check it out in person to make sure its a friendly bunny to match with my other 3 bunnies for bonding with them. A bunny that bites would be a no no.
