Remembering Boo maybe 2013/14 - 13/09/2026

I really miss the smell of you & the dopamine rush I'd get from burying my face in your fur & inhaling. Your fur was amazing, pristine & white. You were generous with it too. Bob & I wore your hair with pride ...everywhere we went came a little bit of you. I wrongly imagined when you went your hair would remain for weeks, months..it didn't. Celebrating your glorious whiteness

I'm pleased that you have decided to do this compilation of Boo. I realise that there is probably a lot more to come :D, but just wanted to let you know that I am remembering so much of this and also enjoying it. I know what you mean when you say that white fur is amazingly white.

Such beautiful photos, I love the action shot of her emptying the litter box, I seem to remember that one 😍. I can relate to the "wearing" of their fur, wasn't so bad with George as he was short haired, wouldn't have it any other way though 😊.

Thanks Omi, its really nice you remember her ❤️ Thanks to PM (I think you commented on loving that shot when I made a thread about it) & C&D. She had skills

What a beautiful bunch of bunnies and Boo sounded like an absolute queen who was totally in charge, knew she was coming home with you no questions asked, and knew she was easily adored. They really are unique and wonderful little souls with mahoosive personalities. This thread about your gorgeous girl has been really joyfull and heartwarming to read. A loving celebration of her life. xxx

Aww thanks so much. I am so pleased it reads happy...so far at least. I read your lovely message days ago but the forum hasn't let me on since so I haven't been able to thank you or continue with her story. Yeah they really are all perfectly unique❤️

Boo you thwarted all my efforts to store dried forage to feed you & your chums in winter. I recall being so proud I'd managed to fill 2 huge hay boxes with it. Then stood beside those boxes one day a huge white bum exited a hole I'd not even noticed. You & Joey had pretty much demolished the lot. IMG_7283.JPG

But since you could, why not? You had a cast iron belly & could plough through forage faster than anybun I metIMG_9962.JPG

Such a licky bun! If it wasn't a person receiving groomies you'd give thanks to objects...radiators & tables especially

Sometimes you even got your tongue out for Joey & Mouse. For sure they came last after the people & the furniture IMG_7073.JPGIMG_7992 (2).JPG

Your photos and captions convey how special Boo was. My favorite photos are the ones of her relaxing/sleeping. She must have been vertigo comfortable in your care.

Hey Boo - well is gone 2 years now since you left, not my bad, but the forums.

Can you remember once we got settled in your final home I got greedy for another bunny! & fell for a "lonely black bunny " advertised on here.

We had those mini dates so I'd see how each of you was with Rudey. You treated it like you were being taken out to dinner...4 courses, a mint leaf & a polite request to be driven home. As your Joey didn't much like Rudey, bonding was a bit all over the place. Any other rabbit I'd look back at this photo & wonder why the hell I was in the bonding pen & you aren't :ROFLMAO:

So after a month or 2 hanging out with you buns in the lounge, listening to Jazz & trying to get you all to be chums, ultimately you said no.
You had a singular reactive attack on Rudey, I saw it coming & got both the bite & scratch destined for him. So youhad spoken & it was therefore written, you & Joe became upstairs buns leaving the newly loved up Rudey & Mouse as our downstairs buns

You & Joey were beautifully matched. Such different personalities that complimented each other beautifully. As we know Joey wasn't always the smartest cookie but you worked out everything so quickly, from puzzles. Out of six bunnies who used that bothy it was only you who worked out the top exit (til just the other month). This photo brings back the happiest of memories, that time your dug at my jeans & hopped on to my knee for a nap. Always free with love & groomies but this was the only time you had a cuddle on my lap without me putting you there

Remember how Bob got really anxious you'd eat the whole grapevine before it got started? Every time you exitted the bothy to join us on the seats you'd grab the biggest mouthful of leaves..

When E.C. related uveitis came it took your beautiful pink eyes & made them look like yellow marbles. Becoming fully blind didn't seem to phase you too much but it was sad you couldn't get up to the weirdly adventurous stuff. You had an admirable mind map which served you well. The binkies stopped when your eye sight went & your wanting to jump & climb. I'd like to say Joey looked after you & in many ways thats true but he did take to squirreling food away from you & then returning to eat what was left together
