Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Raven needs vibes, falling, circling update March 11

Sorry to be so late, but I'm glad Raven's dental went well and that he started eating again quickly. 🥰 He's such a strong bunny, dealing with these frequent dentals, especially now that he's having his balance and circling problems on top of that.

Sunday night Raven was falling again and not getting up immediately. He got all his usual care and while he improved, he is still falling down and sometimes he struggles to get up again. In a few hours he is going to the vet. It was supposed to be his dental appt, yet I do not think vet will do the dental. Please send my handsome boy some positive vibes. Hugs.

Oh, no, I'm so sorry he's been falling again and then having trouble getting up again. Sending so many vibes for Raven. ❤️ I hope the vet will be able to do something for him. It does sound like he's not in ideal shape for a dental right now, though I'm assuming you won't be able to put it off for very long, either, with those sharp points he gets on his teeth. What a difficult thing.

Poor boy ☹️Is his falling over definitely due to vestibular problems and not skeletal problems ? Sending millions of vibes for him x

Poor Raven. 😥 I'm sure you must be beside yourself with worry. All good vibes coming your way for you both. xxxxx

Thank you all for the kind thoughts and positive vibes,.
I apologize for not posting an update sooner. I was struggling with what to say.
Raven is still with me. By the time I got him to the vet Tuesday Raven was at the lowest point I have seen him in years. Vet examined him and Raven still felt strong. He had horizontal nystagmus in his right eye and was having difficulty keeping his balance. While there is no outer ear involvement, he is being treated for a middle or inner ear infection. We changed back to the baytril because he was already on the Ch!oramphenical, which initially helped when he had a slight setback almost two weeks ago. Vet also approved a higher dose of Meloxicam to help any inflammation
Vet was pleased to hear Raven is taking syringe feeds well, and is still eating small amounts of greens and treats on his own .
I also have him on sub q fluids. I am hoping the change in abx will give him sufficient relief so he can regain his balance and qol.

Thank you. He has a lot of determination to get around for such a little bunny and has bright eyes.. . I got lots of licks yesterday when he got his syringe feeds and he was washing up when I steadied him.
