• Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Hi there,

Sorry If I've put this in the wrong place, I don't actually want anyone to reply to this I just want it to show up if someone searches the site for Rabbit Savvy Vet in Dorset, Bournemouth, Poole Christchurch, Dorchester, weymouth

David at Piddle Vally Vets in Puddletown is absolutely WONDERFUL can't recommend them enough

xx

Hi, do you know if this is still the case please?
I noticed they don't appear on the RWAF anymore. Do you know why that could be? Also are they still rabbit savvy anyway

I know nothing about Piddle Valley Vets. I just wanted to say though, that I have just looked at their website and the vet, David, who has been recommended by Schtoffen, is the head vet. Schtoffen doesn't post on the forum any more, but I remember her and would value her comments.

I live in Dorset, the rabbit rescue I got Bumble from use Piddle Valley Vets, for all their buns and said they are very good. I use Vetsmiths who are in Wimborne who are very rabbit savvy, but not on RWAF either. They love rabbits and the head vet owns rabbits 😍.
