New Kit
I wanted to ask advice. I recently adopted a new bun after losing my old bun at 12. He is around 6 months old. I noticed yesterday he was holding his leg weird. Like upward and in. You can see his uneven sides. He is still eating, drinking, pooping, and running around and jumping like nothing is wrong. My vet is out of office since it is the weekend. Should I put him in a small cage and give him metacam while waiting (I have an unopened bottom in the emergency kit)? Has anyone seen anything like this. I feel if it was a fracture or break he would not be stepping on it but he’s putting his full weight on it. I felt down his leg and nothing is out of place or unusual, he lets me do whatever with it. Only thing I can think of is maybe something is wrong with his hip? He seems to slightly lean towards the side that is hurt. My vet isn’t super experienced, we tend to figure this stuff out together. I got him around 2 weeks ago.
