Oh's and rabbits

My OH resisted getting bunnies last year ;)

Although he is not 'hands on' he is amused by their little foibles and characters, lets me buy loads of bunny treats, built Herbie and Hollies palace and last but not least has agreed to two more bunnies. So he must find them a little bit endearing too :D

He is also very enamoured of Bobbie (our 18 year old female cat) who is a bit of a trollop and thinks he's wonderful. He had no experience of cats til I met him 6 years ago and had no idea of their wonderful character.

My husband doesn't like any of my pets, he sees them as a huge drain on his hard-earned money and a general waste of time. I just ignore him and spend my evenings in the shed with my furry friends who don't moan about money all of the time

When we first met I told hubby, Love me, love my bunnies. He was always not fussed about them when in my flat but then when I moved into his house and now brought our place he has softened big time.

It is hubby who takes most of the photos :)

David loves them all, I am really lucky in the fact that he takes a very active roll in the care of them all too.

Mark doesn't really have anything to do with mine e.g. looking after and cleaning them out etc... but he is always sneaking out to give them treats and tickling them and he will look after them for a bit if I'm away with work. He wasn't interested at first but now realises how much fun they are and giggles when they binky! He is shocked at how much work they are though, as we all probably were

im the sole care giver.....darren does nothing for them but does always walk over and have a look at them or lie with them giving them strokes. wispa wont come to me and stay for loving, she runs over sees what im doing and then runs in the opposite direction a lot faster!

when other people are around he says that they are my rabbits and they are "ok"

when its just me Zola is his bun and he "loves" the bunnies!

Sean's great he feeds them most of the time as he's always ready for work in time and I'm not!! He enjoys teasing them too

He didn't want them at first but loves them to bits now :)

Dom only likes Winston and Winston's g/f Snowdrop, who he has re-christened Craig (don't ask  )

He hates the outdoor rabbits, and gets paranoid that they're plotting to get into the house

On the positive side though...he never knows how many rabbits I have here, and doesn't notice newcomers. In fact, if I have 2 similar coloured rabbits he thinks they're the same rabbit :D

I used to be able to pull that one off too :lol:

My Steve wasn't really bothered about them until we got some and he fell totaly in love with them. He loves laying on the floor cuddling them. He acts tough but he is a real big softy:D

my boyfriend likes the rabbits. I have to keep telling him not to give them so many treats. I don't think he'd be keen on cleaning out there litter trays though.

My OH pretends not to be interested but has been known to have a little weep when one dies. He heard a screech out in the garden the other night and rushed out to make sure the buns were OK - I had to resist the temptation to say "see - you DO care really!!" He mutters "bloody rabbits" a lot but I often find him watching them binkying and digging holes. I think a lot of men have to act tough and pretend not to care but deep down, they do really!! My brother, on the other hand, is as soft as I am where animals are concerned.

Humm my OH varies!!

He will help me with them, such as feeding, cleaning out, building, painting with the odd comment and moan.

He will quite happily take piccies and sit and have cuddles and allow them in the house...

...However the bunnies are sometimes mentioned when an argument arises!!!

He needs to learn to say NO MORE though, i reckon we have reached our limit now lol

xx

i certainly can't say my DH doesn't love our buns. Red and him are like this most nights.:love:

She always knows that she can get cuddles from him.

Steve is fantasic with the rabbits, he loves them all and knows how important they are to me too. When we collected Freddy at the weekend I found he had made a screen saver saying "we welcome Freddy" which I thought was sweet.
When I was really ill a couple of weeks ago he took the day off work to make sure the bunnies were ok, and I think at some point he did bring me a slice of toast but that was about it :lol:

Shane is fantastic with them, at the mo my daugher and him are looking after Bella and Benji for me, he loves putting them to bed at night, I watch on the bunny cam it's so funny to watch him:lol::lol::lol:

My bf really has no choice but to like rabbits ! Hilda (his mum) owns them and then he gets them at my house too!
He loves them all but out of my bunch his favourite is definitely Dennis! He will often watch him running around and say dreamily "Ohh he is so gorgeous!" like a prowd dad ! The first thing he does when he gets to my house is go and see him even if he is just picking me up for us to go somewhere he nearly always asks if he can come in and "see D" first  He will nearly always get on the floor and play with him and completely trusts him not to bite him where I am really nervous around him when he grunts and growls and don't totally trust him not to bite me. G has fed him pellets from his mouth before now!
Because of all this he has developed a real bond with him and I can honestly say I know Dennis prefers him to me :D

O/H pretends to find them annoying; then I find him coo-ing over Lucifer, or being really chuffed that Nyx was OK with being held; or generally going on about how cute Azrael is :lol::lol::lol:

Amber is actually Elgars really. She was his birthday present from me to him. :D

He loves her more than me
