New Kit
Hi
I just adopted 2 bucks 9 weeks old today. I have had rabbits before but thought I'd join to get information if I need it.
I'm curious to know what breed these guys are. Looking forward to know you all.1000005702.jpg

Hi! It's hard to tell the breed without a proper look at their faces. Even then it might be they look like cross-breeds. They will need to be neutered soon (ask your Vet) preferably before they fall out as it can be more difficult to re-bond them after a fight. Give them a litter tray with paper etc and Hay on top to encourage them become litter trained. Hay is very important for their teeth and digestive system and try to keep to the food they are used to until they get older then you can change them over slowly to what you prefer. No veg at the moment unless they have been eating it prior to coming to you. There is lots of good info on the Rabbit Welfare Association's website regarding housing etc. They will need to be vaccinated and try to find a Rabbit savvy vet. We can help with that if you let us know your location.

This is another good site, covering all aspects of rabbit care https://www.therabbithouse.com/

It also can be difficult sometimes to sex a rabbit accurately at 9 weeks old, so I would get them positively sexed by a vet, certainly before they are sexually mature. Would be a good time to do this when discussing neutering with the vet.

They are cute little bunnies. Do they have names?
