Need Help with Symptoms and Diet Changes

Hello everyone,

I’m seeking advice regarding some digestive issues my rabbit seems to be experiencing. Over the past few days; I’ve noticed the following symptoms:

My rabbit has been eating significantly less than usual. I've observed changes in their droppings; and they appear softer than normal.

They seem less active and are spending more time resting. I’m currently feeding them pellets, greens. Should I consider making any immediate changes to their diet? I have checked https://forums.rabbitrehome.org.uk/index.php?forums/diet-digestion.57/cpq guide for reference but still need advice .

Additionally; what signs should I look for to determine if this is a more serious issue?

Any tips on how to help support their digestive health would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your assistance!:)

Thank you
Ross

Is the issue in one rabbit or multiples? Have you changed their food/hay or given any treats? Hay should be their main food.
Being less active and not eating much can be signs of pain and/or illness, so I recommend you contact your vet to have them examined.

Please take the Rabbits to a Vet for a full examination . The reduction in eating, abnormal fecal output and lethargy are all ‘red flags’ for a potentially serious health problem. These symptoms always merit very prompt Vet care.
