Need advice on cage as a first time bunny owner

I want to say I saved this bunny from Pets at Home because i've heard crappy things about that place and they made me buy a cage or l couldn't have her. My bunny, Dany, is super chill and free roams around my room and I have stuff coming like a proper hiding place, bed, and other things coming so she can stay free roaming in my room but my question is: is it okay if I'm still using that cage? I only close her in there when I need to hoover and, as of last night, sleep. She seems content in there, lays in there and sleeps in there comfortably. Through out the day I leave one side open so she can run around my room, lay on my bed or the spot on the floor she seems to love.


Is it okay that i'm using that cage for those things?

A cage is OK as a base ie for bedding or litter trays, but not to be shut inside (except for vacuuming ).
