I recently traveled and was away from my bunny for around 12 days. I left her with a person who specializes in housing exotic pets. She is a soon-to-be veterinarian, and she did an amazing job! My bunny seemed happy and comfortable with her while we were gone.
I knew that she would be a bit mad and moody when we came back, but I didn't expect it to last so long. It's been a little over a week since we returned, and she is still avoiding me and seems not to fully trust me anymore. Whenever I try to lie by her side or rub her head, she just walks away, which she never did before. I know it's a process, I just wanted to hear from you guys' experiences. If you've ever been through a similar situation, what was the process of getting your bun's trust back? Any tips?
