Wise Old Thumper
I have recently had back spasms which in the past have led to being bed bound.

I have had another today as I was cleaning out the guinea pigs and I am now terrified to leave my bed. I realise that this is not sustainable or good for my back long term.

I would ideally like someone to take Snowflake and Moondust (rabbits) and Shimer and Saffron (guinea pigs) to foster them (fully funded).

I just cannot currently offer them the care that they need and last time this happened I was in a bad way for almost 2 years.

I know most of you have your own lovely pet family to care for but if anybody could help that would be wonderful.

Tulsi.

I'm really sorry you've these worries with your back & the fear you'll be bed bound & unable to care for your furry family as you'd like.

Shimmer Tulsi has a very active thread where she chronicles life with her adorable piggies & beautiful elderly buns .

All my rabbits over the years. Bonding Snowflake and Moondust. Page 9 for latest bonding.

Have you got any more details, and maybe some pics?
Snowflake is 13 years old and is on loxicam once a day. His doe, Moondust is 7 and is a nethie crossed with a lionhead.
Snowflake is white and black. Moondust is pure white with red eyes.

The guinea pigs are sisters and are approx 9 months old (best guess by vet nurse when I first got them). They are smooth coated. Shimmer (!} is golden agouti with a ginger patch on her back and one white back leg. Saffron is all ginger and is the shyer of the two, always waiting for Shimmer to start munching before whizzing out of hiding to steal Shimmer's food or eat some near by food.

I'm unable to take them, but I am sorry that you are in this difficult situation and hope that you can find someone to help.

I also hope that your back improves soon.

I am sorry you are in this awful situation. It is clear from your posts that you love your rabbits and piggies, so your pain must be excruciating for you to consider fostering them.
Sending lots of positive vibes that your back will improve much quicker than the last time and you can find someone to care for all your lovely pets.

What a perfect post! Now all you have to do is get better and stop worrying about your beloved rabbits and guineapigs.
