My bunnies only have Timothy. I've never bought one of their blended boxes. However the last order, which arrived a couple of weeks ago and which again was supposed to be Timothy, clearly had different hay mixed in with it. It might have been that none of it was Timothy. I picked out 6 different seed heads, none of which were Timothy! Neither bunny would eat very much of it. I looked on the website and noticed that their Meadow hay is a mixture of different species, so I emailed them, told them what had happened and asked for a replacement box of Timothy. They did quickly send me a replacement box, but they said they thought that maybe 'some Meadow hay had got mixed in by mistake'.
I'm not sure how this is happening, but clearly there's a problem within their operation.
The stems are very, very long (would love to have seen it growing in the field and waving with the wind) and extremely stalky with some quite thick stems. There's a world of difference between this and the previous box, which must in my opinion have been Meadow hay. Actually, does any bunny like Meadow hay?
