Frankie Boy
New Kit
Hi I'm new here and just wanted to get my words out somewhere that I know others will understand.
Last Saturday we lost my daughters rabbit Frankie who was 15months. He was her rabbit but to be honest he was my boy! He brought me so much comfort and happiness over the last year. Following me around the house and sitting with me on a night time, greeting me when I walked through the door and when I got up on a morning.
He was absolutely fine when I left for work that morning but when I returned he was quiet, eventually limp and his eyes almost closed and so I got him straight to the vet. She checked him over but couldn't find anything wrong. She gave him some injections and food with a syringe for me to feed him at home hoping be would come round. When I got him home he was still so limp and I knew he wasn't going to make it. An hour and a half later he took his last breath. We were both absolutely devastated but almost a week on I still can't stop crying. I still look at the top of the stairs when I come home. He was such a character and I miss him dearly. Many people won't understand the pain and think he was a just rabbit but he was such a big part of my and my daughters life (spoilt little boy he was!). I'm trying to think of the good times and the zoomies and the times he made me laugh but the pain of losing him hurts. Thanks for reading
