Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Goldie Spay Sept 16, today need vibes-update

She looks incredibly bright for a bunny who has just had a spay. Well done precious little one and I hope you are still continuing to do well.

I thought the same thing. She handled the gas anesthesia and bupinex injection better than any bunny I had in the past. She still is eating less hay and pellets than usual, yet enough to keep her guts moving, though she eats the carrot tops well. Today I made her a flannel blanket so she has nice soft cotton next to her tummy.I am hoping she continues to do well.

Sorry I missed everything bunny momma! I'm glad everything worked out, she looks good! I'm glad she took the anesthesia well too. Now to meet Peter!

By the weekend my sweetie pie, Goldie, was back to tossing her food bowl and pulling up the washable puppy pee pads and fleece. On Monday, just six days after her spay, she managed to move her litter box. She continues to keep her litter box very clean with no pee or poo as she eats her hay and carrot tops.
She is a very friendly bunny girl and comes to me for head pets and likes cuddles—almost as much as carrot greens 😍😂
She is a very good girl and leaves her incision alone so it is healing well.

I'm very glad she's healing well. She seems to be keeping busy! It's so funny how she keeps her litter tray completely clean. How lovely that she loves her cuddles and carrot greens so much ❤️
