• Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Goldie Spay Sept 16, today need vibes-update

bunny momma

Wise Old Thumper
My latest bunny,Goldie, Sweetie Pie, is getting spayed today and I would appreciate some positive vibes for both of us. It is stressful for me, yet her future friend, Peter, my Netherland dwarf cannot be Neutered so she must get spayed. She Is about 9 months old and a very friendly and lovable little Holland Lop. She makes me smile.

Sending loads of safe and healing vibes for your lovely Goldie and loads of positive vibes for you. Will be thinking of you both and hope all goes well.

Best wishes and so many vibes for Goldie ❤️ I hope everything goes well and she'll have an easy recovery.

Just out of curiosity, how come Peter can't be neutered? Does he have health problems?

Thank you. I am leaving with Goldie in 20 minutes. Peter is a confirmed male, yet Vet could not locate his testies. They are no where near where they should be located.

Minimum, Orenoko, Omi,

Thank you. She just gave me a bunch of kisses, such a sweet girl. I need her to get through this well.

Goldie is home. She did very well per vet and was moving off heat pad at vet in favor of the cool floor. She got pain med at vets so gets meloxicam in the morning (0.5 ml of 1.5mg/ml once a day ). She weighs a tiny amount more than a kg.
I got organic carrots so she can eat a few greens later.

Super news, sending lots more healing vibes for her. I hope she enjoys her greens.

What a little gem! 🥰 She is adorable, bunny momma. So glad to hear she got through the day well. More vibes on the way for complete and quick recovery and a happy bond with her prospective husbun. 💕
