Hello
I have adopted my sisters two beautiful bunnies. They were in a hutch that was far too small so we have made them their own enclosure. They have a good, draft proof/waterproof/cosy and dry hutch with a large run.
They have dug underground tunnels where they like to hide at times and I think great, they’re living how they would naturally in the wild. They have dug so much the enclosure is mostly dirt now with little grass. To be honest they didn’t eat or bother with the grass anyway.
Is this ok? Can they live mostly underground and with a muddy enclosure as opposed to a nice grassy one?
They are in great health and come bounding over for their treats/food everyday.
