First post, question about rabbit diet.

Hello, I'm new here, created this account specifically for this small question: can I give my 6 year old lion head mix rabbit strawberries and how much? Might be a weird question, but i just wanted to know if it was okay and how much I should give him (whole strawberry, half a strawberry, etc.) He's around six years old and never tried strawberries before. Recently I found out that rabbits actually like strawberries and wanted to give my rabbit a try, but am not sure of the amount to give. The internet says it is fine, but should be given in moderation. Just wanted to hope on here and see what other people think/give their rabbits.

Thank you.

Apparently non organic strawberries absorb a load of pesticides so that is something i would put top of my list. Strawberry leaves are fine and a favourite here. I have a small amount growing and sometimes let my 2 share one with me. Its a completely unnecessary part of their diet but i dont see harm in tiny irregular amounts so long as there are no weight issues

If I give mine fruit, it's only in tiny amounts. They get a couple of the tops cut off as I am preparing them for me (including the attached leaf)

My previous rabbit (Basil - rest his fluffy soul!) was very prone to gas and tummy issues, so it might be I am a bit anti-fruit for rabbits because of that. But I do like to give mine a treat every now and again - just a little nibble.

I have two older rabbits (12 and 7) and recently moved to a house which has raspberries growing in the garden (I don't use any chemicals). I give them one to four a night each for a few weeks a year when they are in season.
