I think you're right and as long as we are doing what we can for him then there's nothing else we can do. One good thing is him and Hazel used to spend hours together but also hours apart doing their own thing, he would go off downstairs and she would stay upstairs so he was clearly happy to be on his own too. He sometimes sits with me for hours and then decides to get up and go off to his room by himself, probably for some peace and quiet
