He's definitely a Bengie bun.
He's exhausted himself now, & gone into his hidey hole where he's chomping hay loudly. I was amazed by Thumper, but this little fella has amazed me yet again. He's incredibly human orientated & trusting.
He's already flopped out only a yard from me & went fast asleep, I've had 2 "whisker kisses" on my nose, & we've wriggled noses at each other.
He's fascinated by the stairs, & has been upstairs with me close behind (ready to catch him) x3 but he's clueless about how to come down them & needs to be carried. When he got upstairs he wanted to go into Thumper & I's bedroom. I let him have a hop round, work out there wasn't a rabbit there, do a bit of chinning, & come out again.
He's happy to chin everything & hasn't sprayed (yet)
He's handling amazingly well, & loves his nose rubs adopting the "groom me, groom me" posture of his head.
The only minor negative is that he spat out a caecal. I'll keep him on hay for the next 24 hours & a close check on him. He's had a lot of upheaval.
From my description, Maizey thinks he could be a baby BIG bunny. (I reckon she's hoping he's a Conti x French lop.) Whatever, he's just scrumptious, - lively, & taking everything in his stride. The fun & games will start when he's explored everywhere & feels a bit bored!!!

Oh yes, that's the plan. I'll design his outdoor run with two cool house hidey holes (his & hers) + "bonding run".
I tried to start today but the ground was so frozen, the spade bounced back at me. :shock:
