My rabbit is being treated for a sore ear with possible Atypical Myxomatosis. I’m keeping him indoors over night and some of the day (UK summer so not big variation in temperature. Also, he is vaccinated).
He is usually a mainly outdoors rabbit and doesn’t use a litter tray, but I’d like to encourage him to if possible so it’s not so long between weeing and pooing.
We have a litter tray with litter underneath hay, I’ve put in recent poos and tissues with wee from outdoors when possible. Is there anything else I could be doing? I haven’t plonked him in as we’re already having a few little tussles over meds and don’t want to add stress if possible.
