Cooper the hammy

Cooper, the gentle giant, left us very suddenly this morning.

He was fine last night but was very wobbly on his feet this morning and quite cold. He went downhill very rapidly - we didn't even have time to get him on a heat pad or ring the vet for advice before it became obvious that he was shutting down and he passed minutes later.

We adopted Cooper from a rescue in March last year and he was such a dopey, sweet boy; he would just sit on my daughter's shoulder and she'd walk around the house with him. I hope you enjoyed living with us; we loved getting to know you. Sleep tight little one. xx
