Castle siege!

Some of you may recall little Enya who has been annoying her two fluffle-mates...well, the good news is that she was spayed two days and already back to binkying (against medical advice?!)

The fluffle have a castle in their enclosure, which Merlin in particular loves. Enya seems to want to claim it, however, and insists on peeing on it. Do you think this is something which will eventually stop when her hormones calm down? Halloumi did it a few times after we got her (she was only 1 week post-spay then) but no longer does it.

I'm glad that Enya has had her spay and has recovered well.

I'm not completely sure whether Enya will stop peeing in the castle. My guess would be that there's a very good chance that she will. I do wonder also whether she will be 'encouraged' to stop this behaviour by the others, particularly as it's a favoured place. I would just observe the situation for now, removing the pee obviously. It's very early days post-spay.

I think she's getting slightly better. I'm sure I'm not having to clean it up quite as much any more!

We still have the castle territory battle going on - mostly from Enya. Merlin just wants to be left alone to lounge in his favourite place on top of it, but she insists on covering it in poop! There does seem to be less pee though. She's only 12 days post-spay, so hopefully that will improve.

She has reverted to being a bit annoying the last two days and I have seen her mother Halloumi chase her off a few times. I suppose she will be up and down for quite a while. Halloumi was 11 days post-spay when we got her and it took her weeks to start accepting the love!
