Bumble and Pip

Bumble really has got such a wonderful face ❤️ Pip also is so healthy-looking with a beautiful coat. She must be very proud that her
protégé has followed her tutorage so well and I can understand her expecting a tasty reward for such good work.
Pip says its all the tasty treats that give her that healthy coat. I think its Bumbles amazingly skilled grooming that does it. 😆.

I love all the photos ❤️ You can tell from Bumble's face that he has never in his life chewed something he shouldn't :ROFLMAO: How lovely that he's been exploring so much and that he has mastered the stairs thanks to Pip's expert guidance. I agree with her that she deserves lots of treats! I can totally relate to being seen as a treat dispenser, haha. At least all the jumping on the sofa keeps her fit :ROFLMAO:

Oh yes shes certainly fit 😆, she acts like a baby kangeroo. She's much more active than Bumble, but I think that will change soo . She's just spent so much of his life in a small space, he's not used to freedom. But he's getting the hang of it now

Was late home from work, due to visiting my allotment on the way home. Pip the kangeroo was bouncing off the walls cos her Treato was late. Lol. Apparently 1 wasn't enough. So she got a handful of forage and now she resting and digesting. 😆. Bumble shot straight upstairs when I set them free and played in the tunnel. At least it was slightly cooler for them today.

It's very, very important to stick to Treato Time. Since you were late, I agree that she should've had more than one treat  Bumble has really figured out those stairs, hasn't he?

Lol. Extra treatos you say! Well I'm sure Pip would love that. Yeah i just popped upstairs thinking the buns were sleeping in their castle.... nope they were both upstairs exploring... they are like sneaky ninjas

I think i jinxed myself. We aren't sure what happened but Bumble was on the stairs only a few steps up, and we heard a bunny falling down the stairs and he fell straight into the side of our wooden ottoman. It was behind me so not sure why he fell or if he was just going too fast. I feel awful, we've never had that before. What worries me is how hard he hit the ottoman it was a loud bang 😭. He looked a bit suprised, but there's no obvious injury. He hopped away and hid behind the castle for a minute. Hes now eating hay like normal.
I'll just have to watch him tomorrow, luckily I'm at home and we will have to put a cushion in front of the ottoman as a squishy protection in case any more accidents happen.
I'm in proper worry mode, curse these adorable creatures.

Sending lots of positive vibes that Bumble will continue to be fine. It is good he was able to hop away and is now eating normally. Though even if he just bruised himself, he may benefit from a few days of Medacam for any pain and inflammation.

Thanks bunny momma. I just went to check on him and he was sat eating in their litter tray. I rustled their treats and he came running over and took one. So he seems ok so far. Will keep monitoring during the day today, I do have metacam if needed.

I hope he's OK. My experience with bouncy bunnies is they do tend to fall 'well'. Chibbs has fallen and banged herself loads, even recently as a less-bouncy bunny (she's 11 now), and she hasn't done herself enough of an injury for us to bother her (plus she's kinda at the stage where the next big thing will be her last, if that makes sense). No point in stressing him out if he can look after himself :)

Oh, poor Bumble! I'm really glad it sounds like he wasn't hurt. I hope he won't start showing any sign of pain later. Has he used the stairs since? It'd be sad if he'd become afraid of them when he was having so much fun upstairs.

Oh, I hope he's alright! He was having such a nice adventure on the stairs, I would hate for that to end for him (in addition to injury).

Hi Everyone. Sorry for the delay. It was another hot day here so they both slept all day. I left them to it and just poked my head in and they barely moved.
He came running over for his dinner treato and he's eaten some hay this evening. He went towards the stairs but saw the cushions and wasn't sure about the change. He sniffed them loads but then returned to snooze on their rug and then eat some hay with Pip.
I think he's all OK, he sleeps more than Pip so its hard to know what's right for him still. Pip did zoomies as soon as I opened their pen. 😆 and she shot upstairs a few times. So shes fine of course.
I'm hoping it doesn't knock his confidence too much, but also hoping it will teach him to be more careful. 😬

He eventually got brave at about 10.30 last night. He shot straight up the stairs with no fear. Lol. I watched him like a hawk, to check what he was up to. He hopped down half way a few times and then he shot back up again. His hopping down was nice and careful and he was taking one step at a time. Then at 11 Pip went and joined him and they decided to bunloaf like bookends right near the top. Which was fine, until Bumble decided to start circling Pip. 😆🤷‍♀️. I told him it wasn't safe and went up and sat underneath their step so I could catch him if needed.
Of course my presence was unwelcome. 🤣
I left them together and then Pip decided to mount his head twice. 🙄 obviously he needed putting in his place, but I was worried he might get over excited, and start bouncing around. So I went up and encouraged them back to bed downstairs.

Aw, brave boy, shooting up those stairs like nothing happened  It's good that he was being nice and careful with the steps, but his circling Pip at the top makes me think he still hasn't learned to be careful enough  And then Pip humping his head... Bunnies :ROFLMAO:

Yep I def think he hasn't quite learnt to be careful. 😆. Admittedly Archie and Pip would play on the stairs loads, but as they got older they did lots of snoozing! I trusted them to be careful but Archie did sometimes stumble a few times when he was going extra speedy. Maybe it's a boy bun thing 🤔
