Bonding Pip to her new friend

Hows your bubuns doing mervinus? Pip still stubborn and bouncy? Are they in all the time together at rescue or do they do bonding sessions?

They are doing OK, they are doing bonding sessions at the moment. They had a few hrs together yesterday and then went OK until Pip got bouncey. Lol
I think it might be a slow process for these two, I miss the little monkeys so much.
We are a bit worried Pip might forget who we are, and also that she might feel we've abandoned her. Not sure if we are just putting our human feelings onto her though.
 
oh bless her bouncy self. You must miss them terribly. I think I'd feel the same but your right, who knows how they think or what they think about.
I'm sure if she was struggling emotionally they'd pick up on it . Sending loads of vibes that time flies and they are home before too long

Oh we do. They are the reason I get up in the morning and I keep talking to them and forgetting they aren't here!
Yeah I know she's fine and it's best for both of them to have company and companionship that i could never give them as a human.
I'm sure she doesn't miss us at all aslong as she has food she's pretty happy. Lol
 
I doubt Pip will forget you, though I hope she and Bumble will soon be home.
Them being at the rescue will make it eadier for them to be in neutral space once they return home.

I've cleaned so much with vinegar our house smells like a fish and chip shop. Lol. It's also never been so clean. I've been doing lots of cleaning and sorting to keep myself busy and distracted. Lol.
 
It must be so hard being away from Pip for so long. I found it hard enough whenever one of mine has been at the vet overnight.

I agree with everyone else that Pip definitely won't forget you. Personally, I'd be more worried about the punishment she'll dish out to you for sending her away to bonding bootcamp!

Yeah we find it hard if we have to leave them at the vets for a few hours. My partner has never been away from her. I've gone away for work but known he's been here to look after them. It just feels so alien.

Thanks for the reassurance. I hadn't even thought about the punishment part. Lol. She is a sassy stubborn lady so I'm sure we will get something. She tends to do revenge wees 😆, so maybe we get lots of that. She just sits stares at you and wees. She knows what she's doing and where her tray is. It's 100% annoyance at us. 😆

Haha I think you are right. Luckily I'll be so pleased to have them back i won't mind the toilet smells. 😆
 
All your hard work and patience has been very much rewarded. You must feel so relieved and they will have an amazing life filled with all the love they need.

Yay! That's fantastic news! Well done bunnies, and well done to you too for being so patient, especially as I know how hard it's been for you having them away from home for so long.
 
I've got exciting news everyone. The buns are home. 🥰 We bought them back late last night and they have been very well behaved. He groomed her head and ears lots. She did not reciprocate, which is 100% normal for her. They seem very happy together, so was definitely worth the 3 weeks of me missing them becuase i know they will be much happier together. This was from this morning before I went to work. Pip is the one hiding in the house because she realised I had no treats so hopped away. Lol
