Biting

My Lola is ten months old and has never given more than a light nip and even that is rare. This evening, I was saying goodnight to her and giving her a few pellets before bed, she sniffed the wrong hand so I showed her the hand the pellets were in. She wiggled her tail which I know means she isn’t happy with me and then suddenly lunged and bit my finger hard. Before this, she was relaxing while I was stroking her, I don’t know what brought on this aggression, should I be concerned? Is it puberty? She’s not spayed. She was giving me kisses minutes before! Please help, I’m so upset, I love her more than anything, this has never happened before

I think you've answered your own question. It's most likely hormonal if there was otherwise a normal interaction. Spaying is always recommended, not only for behavioural issues but also to prevent the most common cancers. Uterine cancer affects up to 80% of entire female rabbits by about 4 years old and is prevented by spaying at 6-12 months old.

Wiggling her tail could also mean she is ready to be mated with. You have to be cautious when putting your hand into a female's cage.
