All my rabbits over the years. Bonding Snowflake and Moondust. Page 9 for latest bonding.

He has used the litter tray nearest Moondust's area but not the one on his platform (guinea pig stand shelf).

Oh, he's adorable. Look at those sideburns. It looks like he's settling in well ❤️ It must've been very reassuring to his previous humans to see that he's geting such a lovely home. I'm so glad to read that Moonlight is reacting positively to him, too. It'd be wonderful if they became good friends.

I don't think I've ever seen shingles in an outdoor run before. It looks like a nice way to keep things from getting muddy. Can they dig in it (I assume there's soil underneath?) or are the pebbles too heavy/big?

I have only recently put the shingles down in order to cover the mesh which had gaps under it where the soil was uneven. The pebbles would definitely be diggable in I reckon.

He is settling in so well. I managed to stroke him a bit today which was lovely.

His water bowl was cleaned out and refreshed after the photo. He has two litter trays. One to rest in and one as a toilet. He adores his pellets. I scatter feed them for both rabbits every evening.

Today is Sunday and I made myself a large posh coffee and settle down to read this whole thread Tulsi - what a lovely thread it was, I laughed, I coo'd with the cuteness and I cried too. What a delightful way to spend a Sunday.
Now off to do cage cleaning and to make a dividing fleece curtain - earlier photos of the blue fleece

That curtain is definitely much appreciated by both of them. They feel a bit more secure I expect.

Glad you engoyed the thread (spelt wrong because the letter after i doesn't work on this keyboard)!

Good luck with the bonding Tulsi. I have just bonded Thumper and Pixie aged 6 and 9. It was really an easy bond. Thumper (the name he came with) is such a lovely Bunny and Pixie is very sweet..

Aw, Bindweed is a perfect name! He looks very much as home ❤️❤️

How's the bonding going? (I see Moondust doing a photobomb in the background 😍)

I don't have a space to bond them in that I can watch 24/7 so will be sending them off to be bonded once I have found a date to suit the bonders and can find someone to give me and the rabbits a lift. Round trip of three hours!

That;s a shame. I had to bond mine in a hutch but they are 2 easy Bunnies. The weather isn't playing nice just now.

Aw, I hope they bond easy! It's nice that they're able to see each other through the bars, though. I wonder if they ever interact with each other when the people aren't there to watch...

Well Bindweed got in with Moondust.

They have mainly ignored each other.

I will rescue the barrier as I have to go out for a bit later.

Will do a deep clean tomorrow and try them together again.

Oh just remembered that Moondust has to go to the vet tomorrow.

Hmm will have a think.

Oh the excitement of bonding!!!

Rescue the barrier. God knows what that meant!

They are still together. They seem fine. I have given them loads of chopped up veg a moment ago. Bindweed is loving the space. Moondust is in her hutch most of the time but does come out to graze, esp when pellets are on offer!

I guess that they will both be going to the vet tomorrow. Her head wound doesn't look right at all.

The wound happened years ago and recently re opened. Nothing to do with Bindweed getting in with her, well before that happened.

It sounds as though Bindweed and Moondust are content to be with each other, which is great. I hope that Moondust's vet appointment goes well tomorrow.

The vet is Thursday which is good as they will be more used to each other by then.

I would like to take both of them so they smell the same but not keen on cramming them into the same carrier.

Only got 2 carriers. One for them one for the guinea pigs

Glad they are getting on well...sounds like they decided to take bonding in to their own paws 🤣 I hope the vets goes well on Thurs
